Cuellar, Anne R. (Clesi), 93, passed away, Friday, May 12, 2017. A native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida, Anne was a graduate of Hillsborough High School and a stellar secretary who dedicated her career to the insurance profession. A member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, she was a woman of strong faith who took pleasure in daily rosary recitation.
Mrs. Cuellar was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Josephine (Buttice) Clesi, her sister, Katie Ponzo and by her beloved husband of 68 years, Benny Cuellar. She is survived by her adoring daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Ralph Orihuela Jr., loving grandchildren Ryan, Kevin, and Lauren Orihuela, sister-in-law, Dahlia Cuellar and nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thank you is extended to nieces, Sandra (John) Palmeri and Yolie Rodriguez and their families and to caregiver, Jacqueline Daluz for their love, devotion and care.
Anne lived a happy, fulfilling life. She will always be remembered for her tender heart, selfless acts of kindness, and her unwavering love and devotion for her family and friends. To know her was to love her! She loved to cook, especially for her grandchildren, enjoyed family gatherings, going to Disney and Gator games, and just always laughing with and being inseparable with Benny, the love of her life. We are blessed to have had her in our lives for so many years and we will forever treasure our cherished memories.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 19, from 6:00-7:30p.m. with a memorial service at 7:30p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.
